Going on a Roadtrip!

What a gorgeous day for a roadtrip! Troy and I are on our way to Rudy's Roadtrip where we will party on a bus which goes all over the Madison outskirts with friends and family in honor of Jamie! I'm pretty sure that the day could NOT get more beautiful than this. Thank You Jamie!

U Dirty Dawg

So we just got a new self service dog wash here in Jenks. It looks pretty cool. I am totally going to try it out. It is called U Dirty Dawg. You can take a look at it online at www.udirtydawgjenks.com.
We were going to take all three mutts down there on Sunday, but we ran out of time. So instead we tortured the poor Weiner Dog and bathed her in the sink!!! She didn't love it. But Madison was so jealous of how well she smelled that she seemed to bully her the rest of the night!!!
I will take some pictures of the dog wash place when we finally go. All three dogs are being boarded this weekend while we go out of town to Madison (yay!). Yay Madison. Not yay boarding. They will be receiving baths at our boarding facility, so hopefully we won't have to check the new place out for a couple of weeks.
Until then...go check it out in Jenks, or online! Let me know what you think!

Dollface

Well, it is always entertaining at our house. And one thing is for sure, Hannah never slacks in the goofy department! Mia started putting Hannah in her doll buggy after she got it for Christmas. At first she would have to bribe her by putting her pink dog bowl or her red bed in the buggy. But now she is so obsessed with it that she seeks it out to jump in there on her own. Tonight Mia had to wheel it in our room so she would stop leaving our room to find it. She's just chillin'! Last week when my Mom had Lucy down here, they both slept in it for like two hours!
Gotta love dogs!

Mia E. Eberhardt - 1st Grader (at last)

Today was Mia's first day of 1st Grade. Boy was it hectic. The building that she is in is quite the hoppin' place to be! We got to school early and we were still in a huge swarm of people.

We met her teacher Ms. Anderson on Tuesday at "Meet the Teacher." She is really super nice and is in a newly remodeled room to boot! Two or three of the kids from her Kindergarten class are in her class this year, including one of her "besties" Leah! She is super excited to have some familiar faces there with her this year.

More to come on Mia's "take" on the 1st Grade!

Stay tuned!!!

A quick funny for your Monday!

Hannah has an obsession with her red doggie bed. She drags it everywhere, snuggles it and suckles it. Here she is getting ready for bed!

This one is a video that my parents took of their friend's dog Cooper. I think it is very cute and shows his great talent!

William Joesph Band

A little over a year ago, we were at The Riverwalk in Jenks on a Sunday afternoon. We were enjoying a margarita and were pleasantly surprised to find this awesome singer performing. Just one guy and a guitar and microphone. We were instantly fans of his mellow voice and chill music.
We downloaded both of his CDs from his website and from there he quickly rose in the ranks on our playlists.
Recently, William Joseph added a guitar, bass and drums and formed The William Joseph Band. They are currently touring small bars, coffee shops and bookstore type establishments. We were thrilled to find out that he was playing just down the street in Jenks on Friday. So we grabbed a few friends and went to watch them. They were everything I remembered and we were not disappointed one bit! We sat and watched him in awe of his talent.

It was a wonderful night hanging with our friends and listening to one of our favorite singers. All weekend I keep thinking that this could have been the best night we have had in over a year!
Thanks to our friends for going with us! It means a lot. Hopefully you are fans now as well!
