Pops Roadtrip

I can't believe I have not posted this yet! A few weeks ago, we took a roadtrip down Route 66 to a gas station/diner called Pops. They have hundreds of different pops to choose from. By the time we left we had all had waaay too much sugar. We each tried a couple different pops. While we ate our dinner at the diner, our waitress hooked us up with a few extra pops for our tasting pleasure.
We definitley will be making a trip back. Maybe next time at night so we can see the giant pop bottle all lit up!
You can visit their website to see more pictures, some video as well as take a peek at their huge pop menu!

Cheers!!!

Exhausting Day!

Being a kid is sure a lot of work! Everyday when I pick Mia up from Kidz Klub, we barely make it to the highway and i start noticing how quiet it is in the car. Sure enough, when I turn around, she is out like a light!!
Kidz Klub is coming to an end next week. Once again we will be bidding farewell to our First Christian friends and embarking on another year of school at Jenks.
It is bittersweet. :O) :O(

Our Little Doughboy!!!!

Check it out!!!!! While going through boxes during their move, Don and June ran across some old pictures. Of course I snatched it up and immediately posted it to Facebook. It was just too cute to resist! I see Mia in there. Hope he doesn't mind my posting this to my little blog! :)

Snorkeling Anyone?!

Mia is like a fish this summer. And our little above ground pool investment we made last summer is paying dividends! Troy took her to Academy on Friday because he was looking for a replacement mask for himself. Looks like she suckered him into buying her one as well. Hers came with a snorkel too. She thinks this is the cat's meow! She will be ready for a trip to Belize in no time!

Our Pups

I picked up this fun app in the iPhone app store that allows you to make collages from your pictures in your iPhone photo gallery. I am always on the hunt for new apps. This one is certainly a keeper. I change my wallpaper at least once a week, so being able to make my own from some of my most recent pictures makes me one happy girl! Here is my most recent collage that I am using for my wallpaper now. Aren't they just adorable!!!!?

Go get it in the App Store. It is called Collage Lite.

Summertime

This summer is certainly flying by! I just looked at my calendar and realized I really need to start planning for Mia's school year. We are very excited for the first week of school because that means Grandma Sherri will be here visiting. And we are sooooo excited to meet Mia's 1st grade teacher. But Summer will be over then, and even though I don't really care much for the HEAT...it sure does seem more relaxing.
Mia has still been having fun at Kidz Klub with her old First Christian friends. We went on one trip to Wisconsin for the 4th of July. It was FUN! Great times were had, even though we missed some visits with some of our friends. Things just get so hectic with only 7 days to spend. It was soooo wonderful to get to see our lil buddy Isaac! Boy do I wish I was able to see him EVERY SINGLE DAY! He cracks me up! If you tell him "You're a mess!" He would follow up with "Mess?" Oh it was just so cute!
On our drive back to Tulsa, we stopped in St. Louis for the first time to visit the Arch! We pass it on every trip, so it was soooo awesome to finally get to see it up close! Mia and Troy took the pod up to the top. I had to stay on the ground since we had Hannah with us. I just enjoyed the park area down below on the ground watching all the people. St. Louis is really a place that I would love to visit again for a weekend! It looks like such a happening place!
Well, I am off to watch Big Brother! What a guilty pleasure! We are all into it at the Eberhardt house!!! :)
